Following previous communications about the University’s new paperless parking system, it has now been confirmed that the staff ‘pay as you go’ charges and revised campus visitor charges will be brought into force from Monday 14 October.
Over 2,000 people have already registered for a parking permit via the online portal, with staff members opting to choose either an annual permit or a pay as you go permit. Students can register for an out of hours permit.
However, we anticipate that there are still several car park users who have not yet registered. Therefore, to allow further time for them to register and for the campus-wide installation of new signage to be completed, charging will now be switched on from Monday 14 October.
You can find out more information in our previous communications as well as through the University’s Transport Office web pages.
