As part of the Funder Engagement activities in ResDev, we would like to invite you to join us online for a presentation about the Economic and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) covering an overall introduction to the EPSRC, an overview of the EPSRC strategic priorities and an update of the key funding schemes.
We will also hear from Prof Stephen Wilkins, Professor of Astronomy and Public Understanding of Science (Physics and Astronomy), School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences and Prof John Spencer, Professor of Bioorganic Chemistry/Director of Sussex Drug Discovery Centre (Chemistry), School of Life Sciences about their experiences and insights into the EPSRC from being EPSRC Physical Sciences Prioritisation Panel members since October 2023. In additional, we will be joined by Daniel Sweet, currently the Research Development Manager for Mathematical and Physical Sciences, outlining his experience working for UKRI and being present on funding panels.
Please note that this event will be recorded. Faculty and PS staff from any School are very welcome.
