Our city has a new Food Strategy!
Did you know that Brighton & Hove was the first city to achieve “gold” status from the Sustainable Food Places movement in 2020?
Join us for this event to unpack the latest Brighton & Hove Food Strategy and Action Plan (2025–2030). This free event offers a unique opportunity to learn how the new Strategy, shaped by evidence from the University, aims to ensure a fairer, healthier, and more sustainable food system across the city. Discover how the new Strategy intends to enhance existing synergies among the community, including the University.
The event will kick off with a Food Strategy Launch introduced by Ali Ghanimi from Brighton and Hove Food Partnership, followed by a panel and an open space with different break-out groups discussing specific aspects of the food strategy and their implications for Sussex.
The event is sponsored by the UKRI FoodSEqual project.
