The Bennett Institute for Innovation and Policy Acceleration, in partnership with the Sussex Energy Group, invites you to the 2026 Bennett Symposium. This year’s theme, Zero Hour for Energy Policy, will explore the urgent challenges and opportunities in accelerating climate change policies and the global race to net zero.
The symposium will feature keynote contributions from:
- Barry Gardiner MP, who will examine threats to nature and humanity through the lens of everyday experience and economic policy.
- Dr Caroline Lucas, writer, campaigner, and former Green Party MP, who will join as keynote discussant and panel speaker.
- Professor Dr Dirk Messner, President of UBW Germany, who will deliver the opening plenary address on European approaches to climate challenges.
This event will bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners for a day of critical discussion and knowledge exchange.
