As you may be aware, due to the Coronavirus outbreak the Brighton Marathon, BM10k and BM Ride have been postponed from April to Sunday 20 September 2020.
Sussex staff, students and alumni are currently signed up to take part in the Brighton Marathon running and cycling events, helping to raise funds which will help take our ground-breaking mental health research to the next level.
Sally Atkinson, Alumni Relations Manager, said: “While this is disappointing for all involved, the safety of our participants and the wider Brighton and Hove community comes first.”
The University is making sure that any individual signed up to Team Sussex 2020 will see their place carried over to the event in September – and we are looking forward to continuing the journey then towards better mental health for all.
