On 25 March, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Enterprise, Keith Jones, will host the second in a new series of Research with impact forums.
We received good feedback from audience members about the first event in January - which is now available to view online.
At next week's session Keith will be joined by Bridget Edminson, General Counsel and Director of Governance and Compliance, to discuss internationalisation and security and how it applies to research.
You will hear more about the changes the UK government is making to the way we engage with international partners on research – and how this may impact you and your research.
Director of Research and Enterprise, Sue Angulatta and Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research), Seb Oliver will also be sharing their views and answering questions.
The Zoom event takes place on Thursday 25 March from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm. As spaces are limited, please register for a ticket to receive joining instructions for the event.
About the Research with Impact forum
Keith's informal meetings take place every two months and are open to our whole research community: whether you are a PhD student new to research, an Early Career Researcher writing your first grant proposal, or a more experienced researcher wanting to know more about the University’s strategic priorities.
Each event in the series will involve multiple presenters in order to showcase research, present external or internal research news, or provide useful information or tips on grant submissions, post award grant management, or forming spin-outs.
