Two postgraduates sitting and talking
From Monday 27 March, postgraduate students on a Masters programme will be invited to take part in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES), while postgraduate researchers (PGRs) will be invited to complete the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES). Both surveys will run until Sunday 7 May 2023.
The surveys are an important chance for us to gather feedback about our postgraduates’ experiences. These are the only national surveys of postgraduates, so it helps build an understanding of experiences across the country too.
Please encourage your postgraduate students and PGRs to share their views – it should only take around 15 minutes. Eligible participants will receive an email invitation from Jisc Online Surveys with a link to complete the relevant survey, as well as reminders from the University.
All eligible postgraduates who complete the relevant survey by Monday 17 April will be entered in to a cash prize draw, with two £1,000 prizes on offer for taught postgraduates and one £1,000 prize on offer for PGRs.
For each survey response throughout the whole survey period, the University will also be donating £1 to a charity voted for by participants during the surveys. We will announce the chosen charity from each survey after it closes.
A selection of promotional resources will be shared with Schools ahead of the surveys launching. Thanks in advance for your support.
You can find more information about PTES on the Student Hub or Academic Quality and Partnerships pages, and information about PRES on the Doctoral School pages.
