Last week we announced that the Print Unit would close in the summer of 2025.
Since then, we have received several representations from colleagues expressing concern over the future of the three staff members employed by the print unit, as well as the future of print services for the University.
We understand the concerns of the community and are considering these and other factors very carefully as we continue to explore the options for the future delivery of print services to the University. Whilst we hope to share more detail about this soon, it is crucial that the right steps are taken to find the best solution for both the people and service.
In the meantime, the Print Unit continues to operate as normal, and colleagues should continue to submit print requests in the usual manner for any future work.
