Roadworks are taking place on the Southern Ring Road as part of our Network Replacement Project (NRP).
The uphill lane (from BSMS to Freeman building) is currently closed and a one-way system is in place.
Traffic exiting the Southern Ring Road (in front of Sussex House/BSMS) can either turn right and immediately left to access the BSMS car park, or turn left to follow a diversion via North-South Road, Boiler House Hill and Knights Gate Road.
Access to the Nursery and Sussex Innovation Centre is one-way only, with entry via the top of the Southern Ring Road. To exit, please follow the diversion signs which will take you via North-South Road, Boiler House Hill and Knights Gate Road.
No car parks are closed during this period and the work is expected to come to a conclusion in a few days time. Thank you for your patience whilst we undertake these vital works.
