Humanist and Post-Humanist Perspectives on Forest School Education
The Centre for Innovation and Research in Childhood and Youth (CIRCY) invites you to their annual symposium.
Each year, the CIRCY Symposium is organised by a group of students from the BA Childhood and Youth (BACY) course.
This year's focus is on the theory and practice of forest school education in the UK and will feature two guest speakers:
- Mel Mcree, who will discuss her research on how forest schools can enhance academic attainment through emotional wellbeing outdoors.
- Dr Joanna Humes, who will present her research on a post-humanist perspective on the use of forest schools.
Please RSVP to circyadmin@sussex.ac.uk.
This is an in-person only event in Woodland 2, in the Student Centre on Sussex Campus.
