We are very pleased to announce that we will be holding an information webinar on COST Actions, on Tuesday 3rd June, 10.00 - 11.00 am.
COST - ‘European Cooperation in Science and Technology’ is an EU-funded intergovernmental framework supporting translational cooperation among researchers.
A COST Action is an interdisciplinary research network that brings researchers and innovators together to investigate a topic of their choice for 4 years. COST Actions don’t fund research but provide support for building inter-disciplinary research networks.
We have invited Mr Herbee Thomas, the COST UK National Coordinator, from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, who will give an overview of the scheme and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions.
In addition, we will also have another speaker, Mr Ian Beggs, who is the European & International Funding Manager at the University of East Anglia and will talk about how to join existing COST Actions.
