Professor Lutz Preuss
Professor Lutz Preuss has been elected to serve as Representative at Large on the board of the prestigious International Association for Business and Society.
Founded in 1990, IABS is one of the largest and most established scholarly associations in the field of corporate social responsibility and business-society relations.
In addition to its non-profit research and teaching about the relationships between business, government and society, IABS sponsors the scholarly journal Business & Society and hosts an annual conference aimed at enhancing understanding of important societal issues and their relation to business.
In his new role, Prof Preuss will represent over 300 members, from more than 100 universities in over 20 countries, at the twice-yearly meetings of the IABS board, starting in June at the next IABS conference in Hong Kong.
Speaking after his election was announced, Prof Preuss said: “I am delighted that I have been elected to the board of IABS. Having been a member for over a decade, I particularly enjoy the friendly atmosphere and international outlook of the society. I look forward now to playing my part in continuing its success.”
