Our next staff pulse survey will open on 28 September and run until 19 October. The first staff survey of 2021 ran from Monday 25 January to Friday 5 February.
Results from the last survey helped us to shape the UEG & institution-wide action plan and local action plans at School and Divisional level.
You can see what progress has been made on putting some of these institutional actions in place.
We have worked with our survey provider People Insights to manage responses in confidence and reduce the risk of responses being attributed to an individual to encourage more people to take part and give an honest opinion of working at Sussex.
Robin Banerjee, Head of School of Psychology, UEG member, and chair of People Culture and Inclusion Committee, said: “The staff survey is a great opportunity for you to share your experiences so that we can collectively work out how to translate your input into meaningful change to make life as a member of staff at Sussex better.
“As a member of UEG, we take feedback from the staff survey really seriously. You can see what positive action has been taken already as a result of the survey we held earlier in the year. We acknowledge there is more to do, and we really need to hear from everyone.”
Siobhan O’Reilly Director of HR said: “We had a good response rate last year, but it would be great to hear from more of our community, so please do share you views on working here. I’m really pleased we’ve been able to progress positive change in response to what people have told us.”
You will be invited by email to take part and share your views and your experience of working here and what you think we could be doing differently or better.
Reminders will be sent out each week during the survey window to anyone who hasn’t yet completed, asking them to take part. Your personal link to the survey will be included in this email.
We will be running Pulse surveys twice a year in the Spring and Autumn, allowing leaders and managers to hear more often from staff on what matters to them.
