Final few days to share your thoughts on public engagement at Sussex
Posted on behalf of: Internal Communications
Last updated: Thursday, 3 February 2022

Our survey on public engagement at Sussex is open until midnight on Monday 7 February - please take a few minutes to let us know your views as they will help us deliver high quality, effective engagement with the public.
Why is it the survey important?
We ask staff and postgraduate students share their thoughts as part of our aim to interact purposefully with people, organisations and communities at a local, regional, national and international level, as outlined in our Engage for Change strategy in Sussex 2025
What does the survey cover?
The survey, which will take no longer than 15 minutes to complete, will ask a few questions to explore the understanding of how we perceive public engagement at Sussex. This includes if and how you engage the public with your work, and whether you would benefit from additional support from the University in your public and civic engagement activities.
What impact will the survey have?
The survey will help us understand what staff and students think our current strengths are, and where there may be gaps in our knowledge and capabilities. The data will provide us with robust evidence that is benchmarked across the sector, and inform recommendations and actions that will underpin our work in public engagement.
How can I take part?

The survey is being run by third-party provider NCCPE and the information you submit will be published as part of a report, but confidentiality and anonymity will be maintained and no individual will be identifiable from any publications. You can read NCCPE’s Privacy Notice for further information.
