Today (17 February) we wrote to all staff about the amber weather warning in place. You can read the email in full:
Dear all,
As you may have seen via the media, Brighton will be subject to an amber weather warning tomorrow.
We have carried out a thorough assessment of the campus to ensure it is safe and secure, and the University will remain open as usual tomorrow.
Those travelling to campus should make their own decisions on whether it is safe to travel from where they are based.
We will assess the situation first thing in the morning and issue another communication if the weather warning has turned to red and we need to close the campus.
