At long last, we are delighted to be able to host Summer Graduation in July. We are happy to invite Professional Services colleagues to volunteer to help at the ceremonies taking place from Tuesday 5 until Friday 22 July 2022 at the Brighton Centre, King’s Road, Brighton.
Due to the postponement of our ceremonies during the pandemic, we are also inviting students back who were due to graduate in July 2020, January 2021, July 2021 and January 2022.
Graduation ceremonies are an ideal opportunity for Professional Services colleagues play their part in congratulating our students on their academic achievements and are a key event in the University calendar. Summer graduation is going to be even more special after such a long break.
Colleague safety is our primary concern, so we have been working closely with our Health and Safety team as well as Brighton Centre staff to ensure that suitable and sufficient measures are in place. We will be sharing all this information with volunteers ahead of graduation and at the briefing meeting and we are happy to answer any questions.
We are incredibly thankful to be supported by the many members of staff who work with us during this special occasion. Those who have worked at graduation before will know that the contribution made by Professional Services staff is vital in making the celebration a success.
