Emerging Leaders Programme
If you are in an academic or professional services leadership role at Sussex, we have places available now on the new Emerging Leaders programme. The programme will focus on how to lead in the new hybrid working world. Please see our Leadership and Management webpage for more information.
April is Stress Awareness Month
According to research from the Mental Health Foundation, 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point during the last year that they have felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. The Stress Management Society has some useful resources and guides for managing stress at work. This CIPD factsheet will also help you identify the signs of stress, address stress at work, and distinguish between stress and pressure.
We recommend Managing Stress for Positive Change on LinkedIn Learning. This course, which is suitable for everyone, has some tips on how to shift the stress lens for a more positive outcome. There is also a useful stress audit tool to help you identify particular areas of stress.
Our April Newsletter is now available on our homepage. This month we are embracing hybrid working and preparing for the forthcoming appraisal season.
Your Period is Your Superpower Masterclass on 9 May will help you understand how to support and honour yourself as your hormone levels change. You will leave this Masterclass with the knowledge to increase your productivity and maximise your wellbeing. See below to find out more and book your place.
