Appraisals
Its time to think about appraisals. Staff appraisals are an ongoing process of review, support and development, and feature a formal, annual meeting between the appraisee and appraiser. The meeting offers a chance to create space and time to reflect on progress during the past year and to plan ahead for the next. It’s so important to find the time to self-reflect think about your development so we suggest plotting an hour or so in your calendar specifically for that reason. We have created a new LinkedIn Learning pathway called ‘Preparing for your Appraisal’ and we will be adding more suggested pathways on career development and much more soon so please do keep checking our LinkedIn Learning web page.

Appraisals for PS staff should be completed by September 2022 and the academic cycle is August to the end of July. Appraisals must be completed no later than 30th October.
Don’t forget about an apprenticeship as a fantastic way to realise your long-term career goals and develop skills and knowledge required either in your current role or for a future career.
