This is an update on the progress made between Union and University representatives following the joint agreement of 8 June 2022.
Six workstreams have been set up which span the following areas:
- Equalities
- Pay and Fixed Term Contracts
- Doctoral Tutors’ Contracts
- Workload
- Post-6pm Teaching
- Living Wages
Each of the six workstreams is attended by Union and University representatives and is chaired by a member of the University executive or with a chair that rotates between the two parties. The workstreams report to a University Steering Group (which meets weekly) which in turn reports to the University Executive Group.
Workstream meetings with the Union representatives have taken place since 22 June 2022. All workstreams have now held two meetings in which the Union representatives have outlined requests.
