This week Union and University representatives met to discuss elements of the joint agreement of 8 June 2022.
This past fortnight we have held 5 meetings between union and University representatives who have discussed the following workstream areas:
- Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Pay and Fixed Term Contracts
- Doctoral Tutors’ Contracts
- Workload
- Post-6pm Teaching
- Living Wage
We are pleased to report that we have made progress in the following areas:
- Additional meetings have taken place to obtain specific information where required at a School or HR level
- Modelling has commencing around costing the above joint agreement elements where relevant
The next steps are to:
- Hold the next meetings across all workstreams and conduct financial modelling where applicable during week commencing 1 August and week commencing 8 August. We then hope to make further progress on the above-mentioned elements.
