This week we have confirmed Ellucian as the provider for the new Student Information System (SIS). This has been a competitive process and Kate O’Riordan who leads on this said: “I’m incredibly grateful to the Steering group, which includes professional service and academic colleagues and to our Project, Procurement and Legal teams for their hard work and commitment. Congratulations to everyone in finding the supplier best suited to our needs.”
Ellucian already provides SIS solutions to over 1,200 institutions globally, and importantly, is one of the key software suppliers in the UK higher education system.
Implementation planning and timelines are being agreed, with roll out of parts of the SIS expected to begin in September 2024. We are continuing to work with colleagues all across the institution to ensure that we can provide a robust and modern student information system.
Jayne Aldridge, Director for the Student Experience said: “We have ambitions to ensure our students have a great experience during their time here, including transformation of our digital and operational services to support their learning journey. We are excited about our partnership with Ellucian to deliver a significant part of this.”
