Professional Services staff from across the University will be coming together on Monday 12 June for a day of learning about each other’s work, meeting colleagues and celebrating their achievements.
Skeleton PS services will be operating, although staff will respond promptly to any emergencies.
Additionally:
- The Library building will remain open as usual from 9am-11pm, with an online chat service from 9am-5pm.
- Finance will be operating a reduced service on the Finance Service Desk, addressing urgent high priority items. The Student Accounts and Accounts Receivable teams will not be directly contactable during the event. Students with an urgent finance enquiry will be directed to the Welcome Team in the Student Centre which is open all day. If specialist help is needed, the student will be supported by the Finance Service Desk.
- The IT Service Desk in Shawcross will be closed and there will be no counter or phone service on the day. Service Desk will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 13 June. The ITS team will be monitoring for any significant issues on the day.
- Two Estates services will be closed. All other Estates services, notably the services provided by SEF and Chartwells, will remain active. The services which will be closed are:
- Sussexsport - the Sport Centre will be closed all day. The Falmer Sports Complex will open from 3.30pm
- Housing Office – closed all day; an answering service will be active and reviewed during the day.
