The University welcomed a visiting delegation from our partner, Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJSU) in November. The successful and positive visit was the first since the inauguration of the Sussex Artificial Intelligence Institute in ZJSU In 2018. You can view the photos from the visit.
During the event, ideas were shared about the future and how we can expand the horizons of the partnership. Professor YU Jianxing from ZJSU met with PhD students from the joint institute, which proved to be a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange. The discussions highlighted the significance of Transnational Education (TNE) and the projects that resulted from international collaborative efforts, including the Sussex Artificial Intelligence Institute.
Despite being a young player, Sussex has earned recognition in the Higher Education Sector for creating broader benefits that go beyond the delivery of TNE degree programmes. The visit strengthened the ties between Sussex and ZJSU, reinforcing the commitment to academic excellence, collaborative learning, and opening up new avenues for academic exploration and innovation.
