Doctor's Orders, the popular café based in the Medical School building at the southern end of campus, has undergone a full refurbishment and is ready to reopen on Monday 29 January.
Visitors will see a complete transformation to the space, with a new location for the service counter, new décor and enhanced seating areas. The refurb is designed to make best use of the space, as well as making it more welcoming.
There are also changes to the menu on offer, including a range of smoothies and baked goods. All the changes made reflect the feedback that students and staff provided during the consultation for the new campus catering offer in 2023.
Throughout next week, Doctor's Orders colleagues will be celebrating the reopening with freebies of some of the new products that they’re going to be proudly serving.
On Monday 29 January from 11am you can try the range of new smoothies
On Tuesday 30 January at 11:30am, come and savour the richness of locally roasted Redroaster coffee, which is roasted right here in Brighton, and is listed as one of the most sustainable businesses in the UK.
The Sussex local theme continues on Wednesday 31 January at 11:30am where you can test the delights from EF Bakers - a family-owned bakery based in Bognor Regis, these treats are crafted with locally sourced ingredients and traditional methods passed down through generations.
On Thursday 1 February at 12 midday, come and check out the new ‘grab & go’ sushi range, supplied by the well-known brand Tanpopo. With meat and vegan options available, grab a free sample and try the convenience and deliciousness of this new offering.
