Roadworks on the Eastern Ring Road
As part of the Network Replacement Programme (NRP), there is a series of roadworks taking place on the Eastern Ring Road (near the top entrance to campus) taking place until Monday 17 February, to install new network cables.
One lane will be closed only, with three-way traffic lights in place by the P11 Knights Gate car park, and the corner to Boiler House Hill, with works progressing into the Southern Ring Road. Please be aware of brief delays when entering and exiting campus during these works.
The Science Park Road bus stop (at the bottom of the road up to the Falmer Sports Complex) is also closed during these works. Please use the Hastings building or Falmer Village bus stops as an alternative.
Update 23-01-25: as these roadworks have progressed ahead of schedule, works will be moving to the Southern Ring Road from Monday 27 January, and are expected to be complete by Friday 7 February.
Hop on the bus for just £1!
Brighton & Hove Buses are introducing a £1 'short hop' fare for the festive season, available until 31 January 2025. This new fare is intended to make it cheaper and easier to take a short trip to local shops and services over the Christmas break.

Car parks, roads, and closures
There are ongoing roadworks taking place on Lewes Road (A27), at the University of Brighton campus, until mid-February. Please be aware of brief delays in the area.
Several spaces are closed in P1 Science car park in rotation until early February, to undertake ground works in the area. Alternative parking is available in P7 Jubilee Multi-Storey in the event that parking is limited.
There is an Amex Stadium football fixture (Albion v Everton) booked for Saturday 25 January, kickoff at 3pm. Please be aware that traffic and parking will be busy if on campus during the fixture.
