This summer, the University is offering guests a unique opportunity to stay in our East Slope accommodation and bookings are now open for you to reserve your stay.
Rooms are available between 17 June and 5 September 2025. Whether you're visiting the University or the local area for an event, fancy a short-term stay on our beautiful campus, or are simply curious about what it feels like to stay in our student accommodation, you’re invited to Stay with US.
Where you’ll stay
Our ensuite rooms are located in the north of our vibrant campus, right on the edge of the South Downs, in one of our modern, newest accommodation blocks.
They come with a shared kitchen and living area and are served by a 24-hour reception. We also have a limited number of accessible rooms available with automatic doors, larger shower rooms, and lift access.
Each room offers single occupancy and is equipped with a large single bed, desk, wardrobe and ensuite shower. Guests will enjoy free Wi-Fi, towels and toiletries. You can relax with complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities and head-over to our newly renovated restaurant to buy a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast.
Prices for a one-night stay start from £72.60 per room, with a two-night minimum stay applying on Fridays and Saturdays.

Our short stays are ideal for members of the public visiting our campus or the local area, alumni on a trip down memory lane, University guests attending conferences and meetings, and friends and family of our students.
Why not book a room for Summer Graduation week, 21-25 July, or for Brighton & Hove Pride weekend, 2-3 August? Book your stay now to avoid disappointment.

If you choose to Stay with US, parking will be included in your accommodation fee – you simply register your vehicle at the East Slope reception upon arrival. Guests must be at least 18 years old (or 12, if accompanied by an adult). We don’t accommodate house parties, stag, or hen parties.
Cancellations are fully refundable if made at least 48 hours before arrival via GuestBookings@sussex.ac.uk.
