Adecco UK Ltd has been announced as the University’s new Managed Service Provider (MSP) and will work in partnership with us to manage the supply of temporary and agency workers across the University. The current MSP, Reed, has operated the service since 2021 and will continue to do so until early autumn, when the current contract period ends.
Adecco will provide hiring managers with a more efficient, simple and streamlined way to hire temporary and casual workers.They will proactively work with the University to effectively manage an improved talent pool and provide better access to candidates for research roles.
Up-to-date technology means that the service will be flexible and more accessible.It will deliver an improved candidate experience, and increased student engagement. Adecco’s wide-reaching supply chain network means they can access specialist talent promptly when the need arises.
During the comprehensive procurement process, which involved stakeholders from across the University, Adecco demonstrated their commitment toimplement a robust service underpinned by quality.
Further information on how to get involved, exact dates of implementation, how to use the service - plus access to Adecco’s training tools – will be shared in due course. Until then, hiring managers should continue to contract via Reed as usual.
