Join Vice-Chancellor Professor Sasha Roseneil on Monday 15 September for the launch event to mark the publication of our new strategy, Sussex 2035: Creating Progressive Futures - flourishing, sustainability and progress for the whole world.
Sussex 2035 has been developed through extensive engagement with our community. We have looked outwards as well as inwards, seeking input from staff, students and prospective students, alumni, and regional stakeholders to ensure that it provides a distinctive direction for the University – one that builds on our existing excellence and positions us to address the most critical challenges facing the world.

What to expect at the forum
The launch event will give you a chance to hear about the vision for the next 10 years at Sussex, including our three transformational themes: environmental sustainability, human flourishing, and digital and data futures.
The Vice-Chancellor will provide a roadmap for the strategy’s next steps and will update colleagues on the development of The Sussex School for Progressive Futures, our new flagship hub for interdisciplinary research and education.
