Campus travel and transport news - w/c 15 December

Refectory Road closure: Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 December
Refectory Road and Norwich House Road will be closed on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 December, from 8am to 6pm, to facilitate important cable installation works.
All traffic will be diverted via East Slope Road, and the Bramber House bus stop will be closed. There will be no impact to pedestrian access.
Disruption to train services to London in January
Disruption to the main train line between Brighton (and the general area, including Hove and Lewes) and Gatwick Airport is planned during several weekends in January 2026, affecting rail travel to Greater London, due to maintenance works. More information will be released once confirmed.

Car parks, roads, and closures
Spaces will be unavailable at the north end of P1 Science car park (parallel to the Hastings building) on Thursday 18 December, to facilitate coach arrivals and departures.
There is an Amex stadium football match (Albion v Sunderland) on Saturday 20 December, kickoff at 3pm. Campus roads and parking will be busy during, before and after this fixture.
