The Student Food Takeover is back for a third year! This term, Sussex Uni Food will be bringing you amazing student-inspired dishes at subsidised prices.
Our food takeovers are an opportunity for students to bring a taste of home to Sussex, sharing the amazing flavours of their home country with hungry peers and staff.
Earlier this year, we asked students to submit their favourite recipes for our campus chefs to recreate, and the results are now in.
The first dish
The first Student Food Takeover dish this year will be Loaded Onion Bahjis, submitted by Sanika Pisal. Sanika is known by her family as an onion bhaji connoisseur, and her recipes have been very popular with fellow residents in Norwich House!

Loaded Onion Bhajis will be available in Eat Central’s blue kiosk on Wednesday 18 March and Thursday 19 March.
