On Friday 1 May, more than 400 students gathered on Bramber House lawns to celebrate the end of term with games, music and free food in the sunshine.
The event brought energy and a wide range of activities to campus. Students enjoyed mini golf, inflatable axe throwing, darts and a silent disco, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout the afternoon. It offered a valuable opportunity to step away from revision and deadlines during a busy period in the academic calendar.
A highlight of the day was the free ice cream giveaway, generously provided by Sussex Uni Food. In return, students were invited to share feedback and ideas about future campus activities and facilities, providing valuable insights that will help shape and enhance the student experience.
Supporting campus life
Events like this play an important role in supporting student wellbeing and fostering a sense of belonging. By creating opportunities for students to connect with campus life and each other, the University continues to build a vibrant environment that supports both academic success and community connection.
