Our new Student Centre has been featured in the April edition of the Public Sector Build Journal, celebrating its innovative and inclusive design.
The article describes how students were at the heart of the design, with accessibility, sustainability and flexibility as guiding principles that shaped the Student Centre we have today.
Opening to students at the beginning of the current academic year, the Student Centre has proved to be a fantastic asset to our campus community and to the Sussex student experience.
Nigel Rippon, Head of Capital Projects, said: ‘Our new Student Centre has been a huge success, creating a new flexible space for students to study, socialise and seek support. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in the Student Centre, and it’s fantastic to see our student-centred approach recognised in the Public Sector Build Journal, just as we embark on the second phase of delivering our campus masterplan, building West Slope.’
