Summer vacation dates
Here are the opening times of places on campus to get food and drink or study spaces:
Therapy opening times
During the summer period, we do not offer the evening sessions that are offered during term time. Core hours for the therapy team are Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm. Students can have therapy remotely, but they must be in the UK so that escalation processes can be followed.
Appeals and informal resolution (IR) process
Taught students will receive their results on the following dates:
- Undergraduate final year students: 18th June
- Undergraduate progression students: 7th July
- Postgraduate taught students: 16th July
If students need help understanding their results, please advise them to contact their School/ Faculty directly for guidance.
If students are not satisfied with their outcome, they may wish to begin the Informal Resolution (IR) process. Full details—including how to complete the process and who to contact—are available here: https://student.sussex.ac.uk/assessment/appeals.
Appeals have the following deadlines:
- Informal Resolution – can be submitted at any time, but within a maximum of 10 University working days following receipt of the academic body’s decision.
- Formal Appeal – within 10 University working days following receipt of the academic body’s decision or within 10 university working days following receipt of the outcome of Informal Resolution, whichever is the longer.
- Appeal Outcome Review Request – within 10 University working days of receipt of their Formal Appeal Outcome.
