AccessAble, the trusted website and app, is designed to make visiting both new and familiar places easier for everyone. Our campus is just one of thousands of places that can be navigated with the help of AccessAble. Its detailed Access Guides provide access information about venues - complete with facts, figures and photos – so that staff, students and visitors can make informed decisions based on their individual needs.
Accessibility isn’t one-size-fits-all—which is why accurate, dependable information is so important. On a campus like ours, where many buildings were built before the Equality Act coupled with our South Downs landscape with its steep terrains, having clear access details can make all the difference.
Between October and December 2024 alone, the University’s AccessAble pages were visited by over 1,200 users, and had nearly 2,000 views. Keeping the guides current plays a vital role in improving the experience of everyone who visits our campus.
What’s new?
Earlier this year, AccessAble surveyors were invited to campus to review and refresh some of the guides. As a result, several buildings have had their information updated to reflect recent changes and improvements.
