Play with Pride tournament comes to campus with Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation

On 27 July, Sussex is set to host the very first Play with Pride football tournament on campus. The event, a collaboration between Sussex FA and Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation, is part of an all-day experience at the Amex stadium one week before Brighton & Hove Pride.
Tickets are now on sale for the event, hosted at The Terrace at the Amex stadium and featuring live entertainment, interactive games, a Women’s Euros 2025 final watch along and more. The Play with Pride tournament will see 10 seven-a-side teams competing, including members of local recreational football clubs and groups that support the LGBTQ+ community.
What to expect on the day
- 11am-3.30pm: Live stream of all the Play with Pride tournament action, face painting and airbrush artist, live entertainment, interactive games and more
- 3.30pm-4pm: Play with Pride awards ceremony, showcasing the amazing talent on display throughout the day
- 4pm-midnight: Women’s Euros 2025 final watch along. A chance to sit back, relax and take in the biggest game of the Women’s Euros with fellow fans
Tickets and what’s included
Tickets cost £10 and are available now on the Brighton & Hove Albion website. Ticket price includes:
- all-day access to The Terrace including the activities above
- a free beer, glass of wine or soft drink
- free entry for under 16s when bought with an adult ticket
All profits from the event will be donated to a selected charity that represents the values of LGBTQ+ community.
