Parking permit renewals open on 1 September
Applications for parking permits for the year 2025/26 will open on Monday 1 September.
The University’s self-service paperless parking portal will be closed from Monday 25 August until Sunday 31 August whilst we undertake maintenance and prepare for the new academic year.
To give everyone time to renew their permit, permits for the year 2024/25 will be extended by 1 month – they will now expire on Tuesday 30 September. See more information.
Park & Ride scheme at Sussex this summer
A new public Park and Ride is taking place at the University of Sussex this summer on selected weekend dates, taking passengers into the heart of the city quickly, conveniently and easily. P1 Science car park is closed to campus users on these upcoming dates.

Roadworks on the Southern Ring Road
We are undertaking a series of roadworks on the Southern Ring Road from Tuesday 26 August to Friday 12 September, as part of a wider project on the electrical mains on campus.
This will require a full road closure on the Southern Ring Road between the P2 Innovation Centre and P3 Biology Road car parks, both of which will remain open and accessible. Diversion routes will be in place.
