Parking permit renewals are now open
Applications for parking permits for the academic year 2025/26 are now open.
The University’s self-service paperless parking portal has reopened for renewals. If you are renewing your permit simply log into your account, check your details are still correct, select the "Opt In" toggle to "Yes", and submit.
To give everyone time to renew their permit, permits for the year 2024/25 have been extended by 1 month – they will now expire on Tuesday 30 September. See more information.
New bus routes launch on 28 September
Two new express bus routes to campus will be launching on Sunday 28 September, connecting the universities to Brighton, Hove and Hangleton:
- The new 3X service is a fast route from Falmer Station to Brighton train station, Hove, and Hangleton.
- The 25X service is returning, connecting Old Steine to campus along the same route as the 25, but with reduced stops.
See more information via Brighton & Hove Buses.
Roadworks on the Southern Ring Road
We are undertaking a series of roadworks on the Southern Ring Road until Friday 12 September, as part of a wider project on the electrical mains on campus.
This requires a full road closure on the Southern Ring Road between the P2 Innovation Centre and P3 Biology Road car parks, both of which remain open and accessible. Diversion routes are in place.
