Are you confused by open access publishing options? Do you want to know more about pre-registering your research? Keen to encourage reproducibility or just want to know more about open research practices?
The Library has launched a series of workshops, Becoming an Open Researcher which introduce many of the practices which underpin open research. These workshops, offered both in-person and online throughout the year, will introduce open research practices and provide an opportunity to ask questions and meet other researchers who share an interest in open research.
Open research is the practice of making research processes and outputs - such as publications, data, software and methodologies – freely available online to increase accessibility, transparency, reproducibility and opportunities for collaboration across the research lifecycle. The underlying principle is that by sharing knowledge as widely as possible there is maximum public benefit and societal impact.
