Council and Senate election results 2026

Elections recently took place for Professional Services and academic vacancies on both the University’s Council and Senate.
Following the close of ballots on Friday 29 May at midday, votes have been counted by CIVICA who independently manage our elections, and we can now report the outcome of our 2026 Elections, as set out below and on our governance webpages. Tenure for all members starts on 1 August 2026.
