Why we need your help
Successful student recruitment is central to delivering the ambitions set out in the University's Recovery and Rebuilding strategic plan, and a recommendation from you remains one of the most effective ways of extending the visibility and impact of our recruitment activity.
The 2026 Annual Student Insights Survey (Unibuddy) showed that 93% of students consider multiple institutions and 70% still had doubts after submitting an application. Our Clearing campaign aims to reduce that uncertainty and provide reassurance on key considerations such as belonging, finance and location.
How you can help
You can amplify Sussex's Clearing campaign by resharing our social media posts, particularly on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. This activity helps increase the reach of our messaging at a critical point in the recruitment cycle, ensuring that prospective students are aware of the opportunities available through Clearing.
We are also inviting colleagues to promote the opportunity to sign up for Clearing updates for both prospective students and parents or supporters. These updates provide timely information and guidance, helping audiences stay connected with Sussex as they consider their options.
