Over the summer period, IT Services will be upgrading all computers in General Teaching Spaces (GTS) across the University to Windows 11. This upgrade forms part of our ongoing commitment to providing a secure and reliable computing environment for teaching and learning.
What does this mean for you?
When you next use a GTS computer after the upgrade, you will notice a refreshed look and feel. While the core Microsoft 365 applications and University services will continue to work as expected, some aspects of the Windows interface may appear different from Windows 10.
Getting Started with Windows 11
If you are new to Windows 11 or would like to familiarise yourself with the updated interface, Microsoft provides a range of introductory guides and helpful resources.
Support
If you experience any issues with a GTS computer following the upgrade, please contact the IT Service Desk.
