Park & Ride returns at Sussex
Brighton & Hove City Council are hosting a Park & Ride scheme again this summer, taking place on most weekends in July and August. Parking availability may be reduced at the P1 Science and P6 Ridge car parks on Saturdays and Sundays.
Refectory Road is closed until September
Refectory Road is closed until September to undertake final works on several new West Slope buildings, and prepare for the demolition of the old Health Centre.
Bramber House bus stop is suspended during this closure. For vehicle access to Northfield and Lewes Court, please use East Slope Road.
No e-scooters are permitted on campus
Due to safety requirements at the University, e-scooters are not permitted on campus. E-scooters, e-skateboards and similar devices cannot be used on campus grounds, or charged in University buildings.
Car parks, roads, and closures
Disabled parking bays between the Student Centre and Swanborough are closed to undertake essential electrical maintenance works in the area.
West Slope construction work will be ongoing during the weekend this summer, to get our first buildings ready in time for September. Please be aware there may be some construction traffic on campus on Saturdays and Sundays.
