From January 2027, Sussex will launch Unitemps, a university-owned temporary recruitment service based in the Arches, near the Student Centre.
Unitemps is a national network, set up by the University of Warwick, with more than 20 branches across the UK. Sussex will be the first on the south coast. It will primarily help students find flexible work alongside their studies, both within the University and locally. In future it may also give teams a new route to recruit temporary staff.
Unitemps will run alongside Adecco to begin with. We'll share more on how the two will work together nearer the time.
We're sharing this now because a number of teams, including HR, Finance, Estates and Student Recruitment, will be involved in getting Unitemps ready to launch. If that's you, you may already be hearing more about this directly.
