Programme update March 2024
The PS Places Programme has now been discontinued. The decision to stop the programme was taken by the Capital Strategic Investment Board (CSIB) in February 2024 in light of the current economic climate and the need to prioritise other projects and programmes already in the delivery phase. The work conducted before this point however is not being wasted:
- Insights and feedback gathered by the programme have been shared with directors to help them to shape their divisional plans.
- Some programme initiatives have been recommended for a move to business as usual (BAU) delivery, including work on design standards and room bookings that will be transferred to Estates and IT respectively (timescales in these cases will be confirmed shortly).
